Description

A delicious and hearty Beefy Cheesy Fries Burrito Wrap filled with ground beef, crispy fries, and topped with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and salsa.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for the fries.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with vegetable oil and salt, then spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Bake the fries for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef.
  5. Cook the beef for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through.
  6. Add garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the beef, stirring to combine, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and mix them with the cooked beef in a large bowl.
  8. To assemble, place a tortilla on a flat surface, add a generous portion of the beef and fries mixture, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and top with sour cream and salsa.
  9. Wrap the tortilla tightly around the filling, folding in the sides as you roll it up.
  10. Serve immediately, or grill the wrapped burrito on a skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side for a crispy finish.

Notes

  • Feel free to add more toppings like jalapeños or avocado for extra flavor.
  • This recipe can be easily adapted for a vegetarian version by using beans or vegetables instead of beef.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the baking sheet for the fries to ensure they get crispy.
